Hi everyone I am currently picking up components for my $1000ish gaming pc build. So far I have picked up:
1.As Rock z87 extreme4 - I primarily choose it because I got it at a steal on ebay for $88.
2. Corsair 500R Black ATX Mid Tower- payed $109 - 20RB so total 89.
3. 2x4gb ddr3 blue vengeance - again ebay for $62.
4. Asus optical drive- $20
5. Samsung evo 128gb ssd - payed $ 84 newegg
--Things I still need to pick up--
1. 650w power supply probably a 80 plus bronze of some kind.
2. Western digital caviar black 1tb 7200rpm
3. intel I5 4670k
4. GeForce GTX 770 2gb graphics card- between Asus, Megabyte or EVGA (whichever one is cheapest at the time)
This is my first build and I am eventually going to overclock when I gain some confidence so that is why I going to hold off on a after market cooler until I plan to use it. So any input would be great thanks.

Don't bother getting a WD Black. Since you already have the SSD, the things you'll store on the HDD can be things that you don't mind the loading times taking so long. Save the 20 dollars. I'd go with a WD Blue, ore Seagate Barracuda HDD instead. I agree that Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is an amazing cooler for the price. Look at 650w or 750w Psu's, sometimes you'll find a 750w for cheaper, or at least the same price range as a 650w. I like semi-modular or modular designs better myself, and would gladly pay 5-10 dollars more for it.

He only has 128GBs of SSD space. Thats enough for the OS and 3 games. No programs at all. He needs a HDD.

Thinking about it and I may go with a WD 1tb Blue. My only plan so far for my ssd is putting my os on it and possibly a Microsoft office, but I guess game wise that's an idea. I'll take your guys suggestions on the hyper 212 evo from what I've seen its a great pick thanks.
