Okay so here is what I have so far:

Graphics -
Nvidia GeForce GTX 760

CPU -
Intel Core i7-4770K @ 3.50GHz
OR
Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz?

Motherboard -
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Pro Gaming with Killer Networking & Sound Blaster Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130693
OR
ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989

And what is the difference from,
ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131981

Motherboards confuse the heck out of me! Am I on the right track? Or should I look at other mobos?

RAM -
Looking for a (2x8GB) pack if you can suggest one to fit the motherboard you choose. I don't understand how to match them from the compatible lists. Unless you think 4x4G is better for some reason? (or cheaper) And should I use 1330 or 1600 for my build?

Storage -
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB. But I don't understand the difference between MLC and TLC and what model is best.

PSU -
I was thinking the CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139042

Or should I go with an 850 Gold rated?

Cooling -
Can someone please suggest a liquid cooling or some sort of cooling system to use that is compatible with everything else? This is the part that is most complicated to me.

As for the case, I've been looking around at AZZA and NZXT and others but I haven't found any that I really like that is also reviewed well. I want something that looks (pardon the term) badass and cool, yet is still functional. Room for the gsu and a ATX comfortably. With a window and back panel for cable management. My razer m&k are blue. Can anyone suggest a case? (You can ignore this if its too ridiculous, sorry.)

If I set it up right and everything works, I am going to learn how to overclock properly if that changes your answers.

Thanks for your help guys!

None really. But I'm not buying a $3000 part you know? I want bang for my buck. Best deal and al that. Like for example going above 1600ghz ram isn't worth it? And preferably would like to keep the whole system around $1500 but if it turns out to be more it wont break the bank. Thanks.

Thanks! Can you tell me why you chose that motherboard over the others? I want to learn what makes a good one for future reference. Why that liquid cooler, what makes it good? And why that RAM? Shouldn't it be 2x8GB (or 4x4GB)? Or is 2x4GB enough for this build?

I chose that mobo because it was the best that would fit in budget and will support decent overclocks and the functions it loses to higher board won't affect you most likely. It takes a bit of research to find good boards within price ranges, but the main thing you look at first is the chipset, in this case the z87. With each socket for a cpu, there are numerous supporting chipsets. When you go with a high end cpu like the 4770k, you need a supporting chipset.

This liquid cooler is an all in one from corsair and one of the most widely used kits. It has a large radiator and since the case is also corsair, it easily fits into a slot at the top and hides away out of sight. Since you have the top end i7, i went with the larger corsair liquid cooler.

I chose the RAM for a couple reasons. 1. 8gb is plenty for any current gaming computer, and G Skill has been making this line of RAM for a long time so if you need some more down the road you can just buy an identical 8gb kit instead of a new 16gb, saving you money. You could get the frequency up to 1866 or 2133 if you're willing to add $10-$20 to your budget. Might be worth considering since you have the i7.
