Blurryness and Texture issue

Hi,

Recently I've played a few games such as Total War: Rome 2 and The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom.

I seem to notice I have been having problems regarding textures and blurryness in the distance, I can run both on Extreme Settings. Screenshots can be provided later today of the issue.

Specs:

CPU: Intel i5 4670k OC'd to 4.20GHz
GPU: GTX 780 SC ACX
RAM: 24GB
PSU: 700w
Mobo: MSI MPOWER Z87 SP
Plenty of Watercooling and fans, 0 heat issues.

My main idea is that the monitor was the problem:

27" Viewsonic VX2753MH-LED LED Ultra Thin 2xHDMI/VGA 1920x1080 300cd/m², 30M:1, 1ms, SRS Speakers

I use DVI as a connection from the monitor to the GPU.

My main question is, is it the monitor? Should I downgrade/upgrade? Would it be a Graphics Card issue? The game itself?

Anymore information can be provided! :)

Solution
Without a video or screenshots we can't really help.

Viewsonic isn't the greatest brand, but it shouldnt be as bad as you are making it out to be if it was indeed the monitor

Very unlikely that it is anything other than
1. the cord
2. the settings on the computer (raise resolution if you can)
3. the monitor needs to be replaced (upgrade if possible)

Well it seems yesterday a new graphics driver update got installed, I have a few problems with viewing units on Rome 2 even on extreme settings but it's not as bad as what it was, campaign map doesn't have a lot of jagged lines and shit textures as it did.
