Hello,
I'm running an Asus Sabertooth 990fx r1.01 with the latest BIOS (1604), the CPU is the AMD FX8350 and I have 16 Gb RAM (2x8Gb on slot 2 and 4), the ram model is:
Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10R.
As I see on the sticks, the frequency is 1866Mhz, the voltage is 1,5V, and the timings are 10-11-10-30.
For a long time I let the motherboard completely in auto running the RAM @1333Mhz... The system was very stable, but why should I waste 500 Mhz? Also I could buy a cheaper RAM...
Trying with the DOCP, I found the correct profile and everything went good for just one day @1866Mhz. But today the computer became unstable, and I had to restore the factory defaults on BIOS, 1333Mhz again... What's wrong? Any advice is very appreciate. Thank you.

so you can't clock the ram to 1866MHz in the bios? Don't have it on auto, if you can have it on manual.

Was it so easy? Everything's fine with "Manual", RAM set to 1866Mhz and all the rest is "Auto"... Let's see after a day of production... Thank you...

At this time the system is stable for me with D.O.C.P., correct profile of the memory selected (it appears in the menu), all the rest in auto except for the command rate that I set to 2T... I can't figure if the ram is slower than with 1T, but surely faster than before. Cheers...
