I bought a CoolerMasters B600 to run my ASUS GeForce GTX 770 DirectCU II graphics card. when I finished installing the PSU my computer wouldn't boot. There was a red/orange light in the motherboard but nothing else.

Have you made sure that your 24pin ATX connectiocz500sxs2 500w plugged in? what about your 4/8pin cpu socket? If not that is the problem. Also make sure that your front panel power is plugged in, if it isn't then the on button wont be doing anything.

Thanks for reading, hope I was a help.

Are your graphic output plugged in correctly? Is your GPU connected? Will your PC turn on if you shoret the 2 switches?
