Hello, I need help with my network adapter on my new pre-built PC.

I recently bought a new PC which was pre-built, I have a Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 Motherboard, and to my knowledge almost all newer motherboards should have network adapters.

When I went to set up my wireless network it didn't work and said there was no network adapter, so I tried connecting it VIA Ethernet cable however the exact same thing happened.

I have seen that it is possible it may have been disabled, however I can't find it in the BIOS nor have I been able to find it on the internet for my BIOS.

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, yeah I've found them now.

I have a wireless card, a Micronet 54 Mbps 802.11G PCI WLAN Card, would this be suitable? I pulled it off of my old Dell computer, but that was from around 14 years ago, would it be at all compatible or would my best solution be to buy a new one?

Thanks.
