hello guys
i've got a 2011 21,5 inch iMac with 4gb of memory.
I want to upgrade it to 8gb so the apple support site sais:
"You can use any Small-Outline dual inline memory modules (SO-DIMMS) that meet all of these criteria:
◾PC3-10600
◾Unbuffered
◾Nonparity
◾204-pin
◾1333 MHz
◾DDR3 SDRAM"
So now there are some special Mac memroy kits available, but my question is is that really neccesary? or could you for example just use a so-dimm corsair value 1333mhz ram kit?
