In our store's website that is categorized as an AM3+ mobo. Is the AMD FX-4100 compatible with it?

I picked up an asrock 990fx extreme 3 board for 70 notes. Supports all the fx series processors.

Really? because my mobo currently runs Radeon R7 260X. Even though it's "not compatible" with it. Maybe my mobo can run an AM3+ too

It's an older chipset so the am3+ may fit, but it'll probably need a bios update. Check the manufacturers website before trying. The tdp of the fx4100 is 95w, the board will support up to 95w processors.
