Can't update my AMD(ATI) graphic card driver, got picture within! (laptop)

Hey guys, I'm trying to update my ati amd radeon graphic card: AMD HD 8750 M

on my laptop ( windows 8 64b)

ATI wants me to update it through their "Catalyst" thing, and this is the error I get everytime..

maybe someone can tell me how can I update it without this program?
how can I fix this?

I gotta update my graphic card because I'm getting low fps on games that I didn't use to have low fps on,

Comes down to this, AMD doesn't usually sell laptop makers a board, they sell them a chip. Most of them are integrated tightly with all the rest of the laptop hardware. Generally speaking, if you want a driver update for a laptop, you have to get it from the mfr's site. There is an option for forcing AMD generic onto a laptop, I've done it, but most of the time it will simply break the video or cause massive...

Generally speaking, if you want a driver update for a laptop, you have to get it from the mfr's site. There is an option for forcing AMD generic onto a laptop, I've done it, but most of the time it will simply break the video or cause massive video error, textures blur or horrid rastering, etc. Go to your mfr website, dl the correct drivers with the latest update, and you should be good.
