How to set up two different gpu's in a system?

Hello

How do you set upo two different gpu's in a system?

I am thinking about buying two gpu's to use in a build. I will use Lightwave 3D program so I want to have one card for window manipulation and the other one for rendering with a add on program.

Like rounakr said, if they're bridged they'll work together if not you'll just have one sitting in your case like a decoration. There is a way to set up onboard and an add-on card for using multiple monitors, I'm not sure if it would work for two separate cards, either way they wouldn't be working together and would just be processing information for two separate monitors.
