This is my first build, and I wanted to try building vs buying since I can pick and choose components. The build is not meant for overclocking, and only average-demanding games. I wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions?

CPU - Haswell i5-4570
Case - Corsair Carbide 400R
Motherboard - MSI H87-G43
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600
PSU - XFX Core Edition Pro550W
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB
SSD - Samsung 840 Evo 120GB
GPU - EVGA GTX 760 2GB

The build would be running Windows 7 Home Premium, and also would include an ASUS optical drive (non-Blu-ray).

That's a great choice of quality parts. That GPU will do great on ALL modern games, however if you did want SLI you'd need a 750w PSU and different Motherboard but it sounds like that single graphics card will be enough for you. I know you're not going to overclock but it wouln't hurt to buy a Cooler master 212 evo CPU coolrt for 20 bucks if the intel stock coolers are anything like AMD.

Thanks guys! I may upgrade to a SLI configuration on a later build, but not this one. And xero99, that might be something I add later when I feel like its necessary. Also, am I right if I say adding a NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller would take care of the speed adjustments of the 3 pin fans in my case?
