I'm thinking about overclocking my Phenom II x4 965 processor, but am wondering if it is worth it.
Am I likely to get any noticeable increase in games, or would my gcard (HD 5870) bottleneck me? I've tried a few utilities to overclock my gcard but I get an unusual screen tearing whenever I clock to anything other than the default rate.
So basically, is it worth (for gaming) overclocking my CPU? And can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm a complete noob.
