Hello,

I just received my 2nd 780 last night. I installed it and everything seems to be working the way it should. This is my first time going with an SLI config, so I don't really understand if I should, or need to do anything else. Do I have to install separate drivers specifically for SLI, or just the latest ones? I currently have the latest beta driver installed.

I am sure that I have more concerns, but it is early and my brain is not awake yet. Is there anything else I should know about an SLI configuration?

I greatly appreciate all help, suggestions and advice. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the reply!

Is it ok that I have the beta drivers installed, or should I just use the official latest drivers? I tested them out on Battlefield 4, The Witcher 2 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I did not see the temps go over 60C while I played, and that was on the top card. Granted, I didn't play that long. I think those are good temps and I am sure that after extended play they will rise. Is that a correct assumption? It seems that they are working correctly. I guess the Windforce coolers are really doing their job.

Oh, before I forget...I was playing Black Flag and notice menu lag and that the FPS is locked at 60. Do you happen to know anything about that?

Thanks again,
Testudo

Do you think the temps will rise anymore? I mean, I think they will after playing for a while, I just wonder how much. The three fan cooler on the cards seem to keep the temps cool. I don't know if the backplate helps the temps, at all, but I think they hold up well. I have a spot on the side panel of my case, so I may throw a fan on it. I should probably have the air blowing in on the cards instead of out, right? The position of the fan will be directly on the two cards.

yes this will get your cards cooler by 5-10 degrees
note : try to get a fan with a high static pressure.
is the mount 200mm or 120mm and by the way what is your case

It is a Corsair C70. There is a place for two fans on the clear side panel, but I can only use one because the top spot has my CPU cooler hoses in the way. They can fit a 120mm or 140 mm. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you! I actually have those in my case right now. I will pick another one up today.

Can I ask you about a monitor, or should I make a new thread?
