i am upgrading because my current computer can run minecraft, but does so with some lag, and i need a computer that can run planetside 2 with little to no lag. i dont really have a deadline, as i am still in the process of saving up, but i should have the money in 4 ish months... i know long time, but i want to fine tune this.

my budget is anything less than 885 dollars, because at that point ill just buy a pre-built

my current list is http://pcpartpicker.com/user/superwholock/saved/3NfX

CPU AMD A8-5500 3.2GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler Zalman LQ-320 Liquid
Motherboard MSI FM2-A85XA-G43 ATX FM2
Memory AMD 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
Storage Western Digital RE3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card Diamond Radeon HD 6570 2GB
Case Zalman MS800 Plus ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply XFX 550W ATX12V / EPS12V

i dont care what site i get it from, preferable US based though

Solution
I would suggest an AM3+ board with a FX-6300 or a FM2+ board with a Athlon X4 750k. If you are going to do water cooling I would suggest a $250+ loop for CPU, and another $100-150 more for GPU otherwise a Cooler Master Hyper 212 + works just fine for most on a budget. Also, if this is a gaming build I understand that the high frequency RAM will help APU's, but if you do decide to go with the CPU's I suggested knock it down to 1600Mhz RAM between 4-8GB or so, unless you also want to run a Minecraft server like me and I went 8GB and am now hurting xD

I think you'd also like a 7770, R7 260x, or a 650ti. Although you could easily go past that on a almost $900 budget assuming that is USD since you said US based sellers I would guess so...

Let me know exactly what the build is for, how much storage you'd like to have, etc.

And if you do absolutely have to go with a FM series chip, get a FM2+ board :D

Also, a lot will change in 4 months, might even want to come back then and ask for advice :D tech world just moves way to fast, and so do the prices.
