I have a rosewill challenger case and there aren't holes at the top to route the 8 pin cpu cable. So, I need to route the cable underneath a GTX 770 with an ACX cooler like shown in a similar setup here.

Do I need to worry about the power cable mention or becoming damaged with heat? The PSU is a corsair cx600m, and GPU temps are at 80 degrees during gaming.

Thanks

Yes. Id drill hole. But if you do not want to do that. Then use next hole available.

You mean routing around the top of the CPU?

So I ended up needing to get a new PSU (other one was clicking), and the new one has some smaller, and flatter PSU cables. I was able to run these along the top of the motherboard just below the roof of the case. So, no need to drill holes or route underneath the mobo.

Thanks for the help all.
