hey,
we have 1 internet connection in the house now (1 modem)
but i have extreme lag spikes when gaming and im moving out soon so im gonna buy my own internet. now is my question. will i have issues with the channels that are allreade there from the other modem?

Yes if you have 2 wireless devices in the house...even if they are hooked to the same internet... you have to be careful to not overlap channels.

This is much easier said than done lately. If you run 40mhz channels (ie 150m or higher) on 2.4g band you will use 1&6 or 6 &11. This means only a single device can really use the wide channels in the 2.4g band without conflict.

You can either change your devices to use 20mhz or use the 5g band instead. Now this of course completely ignores the fact all your neighbors may be overlapping you already.

Maybe.

You want to look for a feature that allows you to set the transmit power of the radios. If you do not actually need the wireless because you are going to use a cable you can turn wireless off in most devices. Again exactly how varies greatly it is generally a check block you click to disable it.
