Share Drive On internet..VPN

Hiiiii,

I am using WIN8 desktop, & i would like to share one of my drive, in which i can access the drive using internet connection (not the same router) with IP address & view & modify files..Can any one tell me how can i do it?? Is this same as VPN??

Hello,

I was looking for the same...& i tried to setup one, i am using windows 8, & first i created an incoming connection, then made a statick ip & did port forwarding with port 1723, then crreated a VPN, but when i connect to the VPN its giving me message says the password is incorrect, i tried it with my laptop, its also doing the same....my laptop is windows 7...
