Hello,I have corsair 500r,asrock z87 extreme3 and i7 4770k and I want to know if there is a big difference between the sapphire r9 290 tri-x and the standard sapphire r9 290. In my country those have a 80-90 euro difference so I want to know if it's worth the money.I want hardcore gaming that will last for at least 4 years thank you.

The difference is the coolers... The reference or "standard" cards run hot and throttle causing them to perform as much as 25% worse, The aftermarket cards such as the Tri-x will keep the card cool enough so that it can perform at max clocks pretty much all the time. Stay away from the reference/standard cards for the r9 280/r9 280x/r9 290/r9 290x They can't keep the card cool enough to perform to its potential. And depending on prices in your country you might want to consider a GTX 780 / GTX 780 Ti.
