For the last couple days my pc would black screen and the graphic card would go to %100 fan speed. It would happen during watching videos or playing games until 2 days ago it happened. I tried to turn on my pc again only to have the fans spin and then to do nothing until the fans stopped spinning. whilst that was happening there was a continuous beep every second or so.

Specs.
i5 4670k
r9 280x dual oc.
asrock z87 extreme 3 motherboard.
Corsair tx650m psu.
hyper 212 evo.
8gb 1333 generic ram. which works fine because i bought as a replacement for faulty ram i got.

so basically I just want to figure out what I'm going to have to replace.
I'm looking at either the video card or the psu as of now.

Thanks.

I would still look closely at the RAM. That's certainly the weak link in the system. What happens when you try to boot with no RAM installed? Do you get a BIOS beep code? Have you tried each stick of RAM by itself? Have you run Memtest86+ to check for RAM errors? I've seen RAM cause the problem you describe a number of times.

we do some test first did you install the driver for the video chipset for the intel cpu ,then remove the r9 plug in to the board itself and try to boot and see if you still have the beep also beep code are show in the motherboard user manual .

I will test the ram but i don't think its the problem.

What testing has been done to come to that conclusion? What is the model number for the RAM? They should have a sticker on them with a model number.

I bought the ram from a local shop to replace the ram i originally got.

I haven't had a problem with it and i haven't had memtest errors in the past, but i will test the ram to be sure.

I believe its made by a brand called amicroe.
