I have a brand new build that i put together and about 30 seconds after i turn it on it loses power. After losing power for about 5 seconds it then comes back on without me having to touch the power switch the entire time this process happens. When it finally turns on for good, there isnt any output to the screen and the mouse gets power for about 2 seconds then loses power for good. The computer then sits there like a vegetable not doing anything. Any idea what it could be?

UPDATE: I did turn the voltage on my power supply up to 220v the first time it ran and i was never strapped in when i built the pc.

Take the motherboard out, put it on the mobo box, install 1 RAM module, reseat the CPU and all power connectors, and try to get it to POST with no drives or GPU attached if you have onboard graphics.

I have an Altex Motherboard Processor combo (which is about all i can tell you about the Motherboard & processor besides the fact that the CPU is an i3), a Coolmax ATX12 V2.3 600 Watt Cooling fan, and 3 Sticks of 2 GB RAM
