Should I get a r9 270x or a GTX 760 with a fx-8320 CPU?

I know there are a lot of questions about this. But, I was wondering out of these two cards: r9 270x
and
GTX760

I have the following set up and was wondering which would work the best, considering Mantle is coming out.


  • CPU - AMD FX-8320
    Mobo - GA-970A-UD3P
    PSU - Cooler Master G600w Bronze
    RAM - Corsair 8GB
    HDD - 500GB
    SSD - 120GB
    CPU Cooler - Corsair H80
    OS - Windows 8.1

Any help is much appreciated.

GTX 760 will run all those games at ultra settings on 1920x1080 with 50 to 60 avg fps!

I would go with the 760. It's priced pretty competitively right now, and the 270X has shot up a lot, so it would actually be a large step up to go with the 760.

EDIT: That doesn't change my choice, the 760 is better in every regard besides crypto-currency mining pretty much.

Forgot to mention, I will be using it for gaming with: Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Skryim and Counter Strike. Don't know if this would affect either of your choices
