You're looking for a network router, not a network server. It should be the strongest signal your tablet sees, or possibly the only one it sees. You need to read your tablet's instruction manual. Not knowing what tablet you are using how could I help you?

There will be some function on your tablet, probably under Settings. At least that's where it is on my Amazon Kindle Fire. There should be a Wireless icon under Settings. You click that and then it will show what wireless networks are available to connect to.

However, if your company does have a wireless network, I seriously doubt that there will no security on it and that you will just be able to connect to it as you would in a library or Starbucks. You won't get in unless you know the password to your company's wireless network. But it can't hurt to try.
