My computer keeps shutting down while playing games and booting Intel Graphics. My graphics card also sounds like its being used really extensively after the restart happens. I don't understand why this keeps happening. After an hour struggle, I finally got my bios to register that I wanted to use my PCI instead of intel. I went to go play counter strike global offensive and after 2 minutes, it shuts down and uses intel graphics again. I don't even know if this is a GPU problem or not. I have no idea what to do

Download the Cupid HWMONITOR software to track the temperature of your Video Card. This could be a overheating issue. Make sure after you install and run it to go into options and turn on the feature to save your log files. Run your game and when you reboot check it to see what your MAX got too.

That eliminates if it's the Video Card Overheating. Do you or a friend have a a computer you can try out the graphics card in to see if it works ok in another machine? Did you try removing and reinserting the card?

I removed it and plugged it back in. I did notice I could plug another cord into the PCI slot. I already had three in it so I just decided to plug the fourth in. I dont know if that was the issue or not but im using my GPU right now and its working. My card had never done that before and I had only 3 plugged in for a long time. So only time will tell I guess. that might have been the issue. Regardless, Ill download that software. If my game crashes ill be back to let you guys know :D
