You will save some money in energy costs, but keep in mind you are using 125 watts on your processor rarely. If you want to spend the money to upgrade your system by all means do, but by the time you've saved in potential energy costs it will be time to upgrade again.

Hello there thx you for update i think the same i save energy costs but need go out and buy new intel cpu and motherboard about than the best for me keep my amd an dont upgrade for now ?

no your can't use 1 graphics card for youtube and 1 for gaming. your GTX card downclocks itself to a lowe speed for youtube, etc, as does your cpu.

$15.66 vs $54.40, assuming full load, so less than $40 difference a year.

Cost to buy a new intel CPU and motherboard, at least $$450-$500. $40 a year difference in power savings after putting out $500 on new hardware means 12.5 years before you break even in saving anything on power.

In other words, spending $500 to save $40 a year isn't worth it as it will take 12.5 years to pay off that $500.
