Hi everyone,
I have a XFX 7800 (dual mini dp, hdmi, dual dvi) and want to connect to 3 LG's 47" with only hdmi.
I tryed everything I could but the third monitor won't connect, so if anyone could help...
What I did:
I bought 3 hdmi 6ft cables, 2 hdmi/dvi adapters and tryed to plug all in, but only 2 tv's shows up. I put on hdmi and both dvi's. Nothing. Only two.
I read a lot and saw that the GPU doesn't work like that, and I'll need some active adapter to do the job. Im my city, I coudn't find one, just found a little white box with a mini dp and 3 differents sources. Course it doesn't work because the box was not active.
Well, after 5 hours trying, I bought one active display adapter (dvi x mini dp) but it has the normal dp port, not mini dp. I attached it to my lil white box (tha have the small dp plug and put the box on the GPU. The other side has a dvi/hdmi adapter tha goes to TV.
In fact, the windows reconized 3 displays, but catalyst don't.
I tryed all and nothing, so I'm calling for help.
