I just bought myself an i7 4770k (: Im wondering how long can have this before I will need an upgrade? Can I upgrade an LGA 1150 cpu in the future or is what we see right now all that is compatible?

It will last precisely as long as it does what you need it to do. When it no longer does that, look to upgrade to something new.

It will last 5 years atmost. But intel introduces new cpu lineups every year.

Bought my 2600K new in January 2011 the week Sandy Bridge was released and I see no reason to upgrade for the next year or 2. And even then it will be because I am a geek who needs to upgrade more than from any real need. You will get 5 years out of Haswell easy. And no there will be no LGA 1150 chips by then, at least not ones compatible with your chipset.
