I think this is going to be an easy fix...but my brain is swollen from working on this for two days lol.

I've built a new system for my son. I'm on the Republic of Gamers BIOS screen. I can see the HD and I can see the optical drive. The boot sequence is correct and I've see no need to make changes to the BIOS and so have not.
However when I put in the WIN 7 Home Premium dvd it doesn't boot up to install the operating system...

any ideas guys??
Thanks

What happens exactly when you start the computer? Is the optical drive first in the boot list?

Yes the optical drive is first, the LED on the optical drive lights up for a while, then the screen go back to the BIOS Screen.

Ok so then the issue will be with the display. The code AE isn' an error, it's just to inform you that you are now in the OS, so it's the screen. Have you used another computer on this screen before? If you think the screen should be working fine, then it's in your Bios that you would have to change something. But before that, are you plugged into Intergated Graphics or a GPU? Try switching those if you haven't. Finally, in the Bios and follow this: Advanced > System Agent Configuration > Graphics Configuration (Or similar titled settings depending on the Bios version)

Then try to disable IGPU multi-monitor. If that doesn't work, try to play with some other settings having to do with the display. Really, there could be so many problems so I can't list everything, sorry.
