Hi,
I have just begun a Bachelor of Interior Design Course and I need help choosing a laptop/notebook!
I have no idea about all the jargon and gaming cards or what not and really need help!
I was told I will need to use AutoCad and i'm assuming other drawing/editing programs.
(I will most likely also play sims too :p  )
I LOVE Macs but was recommended a PC. I was wondering if you have any suggestions?
I really don't want a PC and was trying to do some research about how I could work around this, but I have no idea what the websites are talking about.
Please and thank you!!!

Get the laptop with best screen (look for something like 1080 in screen resolution). Run like hell from cheap laptops with 1366x768. If you can, get external monitor, keyboard and mouse when you are home.

Apart from AutoCad, what other applications will be used? It might turn out they have MAC versions, and you will be fine with e.g. MacBook Pro with nice Retina display.

I'm not 100% sure of all the programs, but AutoCad is the only one my teacher mentioned. I assume drawing/design programs

Ive mentioned it in another post but I got a Hp 2710p a few years ago, to use on PS and 3dmax as it has a pen digitaliser with pressure sensor, it was around £400-600 at the time, probably get it ALOT less, or a more powerful one now.
Ive seen them used alot in hospitals for taking note etc.
Ive mocked up some design for rooms when i was decorating, and wanted to show parents what i envisaged.
