Is this power supply unit good for my graphics card?

I recently bought a new Geforce GTX 760 graphics card for my PC. I installed it and although it does work I saw that the minimum requirements for it include a minimum 500w power supply for it, while my PC only has a 460w PSU. Also while playing Crysis 2 the pc randomly shuts down (probably lack of power). So I decided not to risk it and get myself a new PSU. My question, is the following PSU good for my graphics card, and is it reliable enough not to damage my PC?

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500w

Also, is the 500w minimum enough for the card, or do I require more? For example to play games like Crysis 2? I'm asking all of this because in my country it's kinda hard to get power supply units and the highest wattage I found so far was this one (500w).

Here are the specs of my PC:

Computer: HP Pavilion Elite HPE-450f PC

Intel Core i7-870 Processor

GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 Graphics Card

8GB DDR3 system memory

1TB Hard Drive

MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) Motherboard

Current power supply: 460w

nononono. the TR2's a tier 5. you may want a tier 2 for best results. 3 if you're really, really tight on budget.

if we're going to be all technical, you COULD run the 760 on a 460W PSU, provided it's of quality build and comes with enough current through the 12V rails to support the GPU, mobo, and CPU. but most people will jump to recommending you a 550-650W PSU from a quality brand/model, as that should also offer some headroom on the 12V rails at least. it's the more simpler route to take at least.

Where'd you here that? Because everything I read is that they have some of the better PSU's out there. Most people just don't know.

Guys! I got the 650 TX PSU, and I can't finish installing it because my motherboard needs both 24 pin, and 4 pin connector, whereas this psu has the 24 one, it DOESN'T have the 4 pin one. On the other hand it has an 8 pin cpu cable!

PLEASE PLEASE don't tell me I can't use this PSU:(

Can anyone help me??

Ok, sorry I panicked LOL, there is one 8 pin connector in this psu that is dividable into two 4 pins, of which only one fits. Can I use it for my motherboard or do I need another adapter?

Thank you very much! As for the GTX 760 card, it has an 8 pin slot, and came with an adapter that goes from one 8 pin, into two 6 pins. DO I need to connect both 6 pins or just one?
