My laptop powers down at start up

Hi,
Every time I start up my laptop it powers down. I tried taking the battery out, opened it up and blew out the dust, I just can't seem to pass through the start up. What could it be? Thank you

Hi, what you can do, is to check the voltage of your adapter, if you can check it with a multimeter it will be great. Come back with the result, I will assist you with the rest.

What is your laptop doing, do you see the light from the ac power, the hard drive is trying to start, do you know if the fan is running?
