I've have a HP pavilion intel i7, 8GB RAM, 1GB integrated graphics with win 7 installed. I currently have Logitech pc speakers connected and I've been using sage SA-902 gaming headset.(everything was working just fine)

My bf attempted to improve my laptop potential by deleting/disabling programs on my laptop.

Since then i've been having extremely annoying audio issues with my logitech speakers, laptop speakers and my headset.
for example:

-i now can no longer play music off itunes

-i have to use speaker volume control for my headset and headset Volume control for logitech speakers.

-when i watch videos on say facebook only my laptop speakers play it.

-in order for me to be able to play online games and chat via headset i have to disable my logitech speakers(which is under headset).

i have tried to set things as default but was unsuccessful.

Any ideas for what i should do?

Check your Device Manager for any disabled or missing drivers that can cause this. If present, you can download the drivers or update via Windows Update Center.
If it's REaltek, you will also get/need the Audio Manager that will allow you to change more then Windows, but only with the right and latest drivers.

Next time when attempting such improvements, create a Restore Point so you can revert any changes that were not supposed to happen
