I'm building a gaming PC and need some advice on the ram.
I'll be building a system with
i5 4670k/i7 4770k (still haven't decided, thinking i7 though)
Maximus vi Formula
For the ram should I go with
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8 1866mhz
ADATA XPG V2 2x8 2400mhz
or the same sticks but in 2x4
Basing it off reliability, performance, and yes aesthetics
Thanks!

2x4GB would be sufficient for gaming today, but I also would suggest 2x8GB as I expect you expect to use the rig for a few years anyway and more DRAM will help with other computing, especially if you do anything memory centric like video, imaging, VMs, CAD, etc or simply multi-task with numerous windows open

Corsair Vengeance Pro is a good RAM...

It's always good to have as much RAM as possible so I would prefer 2 x 8 ...

In real world 1866 and 2400 Mhz would have no difference on gaming unless you are a benchie and go for establishing benchmarks.

Do the Vengeance Pros look good in person?

I plan to have the rig for 4-6 years depending on the progression of things however the thing is I don't feel like in the lifetime of the machine I will ever need close to 32gb seeing as it's almost entirely for gaming. So would 2x4 now and then add another 2x4 kit later be fine or am I wrong and should I get the 2x8 so I have the option for 32 gb in the future
