So recently i did a case swap, and now my pc wont turn on.

The backlight and the fan on the PSU turn on for half a second, then turn off completely.
And i know i have the front panel connectors correct.
I have done a test with another PSU aswell.

Btw, the motherboard is a Micro ATX that i got from a HP computer.

have you used the same PSU before swapping cases? i had to deal with a dell motherboard not liking standard PSUs because pin 9 (+5VSB) and pin 20 ( -5 which is optional - blank) were switched.

ok.

i think you may have already checked all the connections . .is the RAM still firmly seated? look at the case and make sure a stand off out isn't of place and causing a short.

i suggest you consider yanking everything back out and "breadboarding." (which is building on a non conductive surface such as a wood table) you can use a paperclip or small screw driver to touch the 2 PWR_ON pin for a second to boot up. (don't turn on or plug in the PSU until you are ready to do that)

Can i have your address so i can send you Flowers And Chocolate? I never thought of doing that and it worked! I found out that i had to use these little things that lift the motherboard from the case.

its all good - just gave me a big laugh. and don't be offended the first time i ever replaced a CPU i used scotch tape to hold it down.

i am very glad you got it worked out and everything is good. ;)
