Hi I just got back my motherboard from MSI RMA just now, my motherboard is a MSI z77a-gd65. When I installed everything and connected all the power supply wires to my motherboard I turned it on and nothing completely happens. no boot, no noise, just quiet. I decided that maybe my PSU was fried so I decided to run to best buy to grab a new corsair cx750w psu to replace my old corsair psu. I plugged everything back in and once again nothing happens. Everything is connected perfectly so I don't know whats going on. I just RMA my motherboard a month ago. please help I'm very frustrated from waiting that long and having to have it not work again.

Hi, I just did it now and yes the fans are spinning and the psu is working correctly! So now It's down to my motherboard, the cpu or the ram cards. Do you also think it could be my corsair hydro cooler? I'm running a i5 2500k with 2x8g corsair vengeance ram with a corsair h60. Video card is a nvidia gtx 780.

check if the 24 and 8 pins atx are well connected to the board also the h 60 need to be plug for the cpu fan and the pump there is a video on corsair for this i would also use only one stick of ram to try the system .the other thing do you use the cpu chipset for video or a gpu card ?

I use a gpu card, it's a nvidia gtx 780. I will be trying out the one stick of ram to see and will keep you updated.

I took off one of the rams and tried to turn it on, nothing happened. After that I removed my gpu card and tried again, still not working again. Just another info to add, the light that supposed to show the motherboard is showing power on my top right isn't on or glowing to indicate it is.

I connected the old psu to the 24 pin and the 8 pin to see if the light is even on but no luck. Does it seem like my motherboard that I just got back from MSI didn't try to fix my motherboard at all? I want to call tech support so bad but they're closed until tomorrow morning, my whole week is just depressing now. I really appreciate your help, it makes me feel a little better to know your trying.

you should have either had someone test your first power supply. Go buy a power supply tester. you can get one online. test your supply. if it works and all you cables are correctly placed . especially the power on switch. and your ram is seated your video card is in correct position. You have checked it all and and double checked. If now it still does not star then you probably need to Rma the board again. asap. to go the extra mile if your ram is new you my want to check it on some ones machine if you can. That's all I got.
