Hello, I am completely new to the computer building and upgrading kind of things and I would like to know what I can do to upgrade my current computer ( an Acer) to be able to run modern games like BF4 and others and also have a decent editing performanance.

Well, I'm not sure what that is, can you explain to me what those are and what my current GPU and PSU is?
 
I'd be looking at something like this:

You could also grab an i5 and H87 board, but moving the Windows license across motherboards can be interesting.
