Computer Randomly Restarts. RAM the problem?

So my computer randomly restarts at times. It doesn't always happen. It occurs once a week or twice at the most. I have a hunch that some of my ram may have gone bad. I was wondering is there anything other than ram that could be causing this problem.

ram sticks been in the mobo for at least two years now, no problems untill recently
cpu is a amd 965
mobo is a gigabyte brand one. don't remember the model number.
ram is corsair vengence ddr3
