Hey Guys...So my pc crashes when im gaming especially when im playing games in ultra settings within like 20 mins when pc freezes and its just black screen i really cant figure out whats wrong cause i replaced my psu also thinking that was the problem
here are my specs
Intel core 2 duo @ 2.8 ghz
6GB Ram
Asus HD 7790
550W Amacrox PSU

Have you checked temps while this is happening? Do this by having a temp monitor on screen when it freezes? also did you OC the system at all? If so remove it and try to see if it still occurs. also try uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU driver to see if it was corrupted.

i monitored the temp while using furmark, once it got to around 60 degrees it crashed....i uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled still no luck but the weird thing is when i bump up the fan to around 60% in ccc it doesnt crash but my gpu clock idles at 300mhz but when use gpu tweak to bump up the fan it crashes immediately

the crashing using GPU tweek sounds like program conflict/incompatibility some where. The GPU clocks drop and so does the voltage to help conserve power. all newer and some older cards do this. your core clock should drop to 300 MHz and the ram clock should drop to 150 MHz unless there is 2 monitors plugged in an in that case the ram will run at it's full speed and the core clock will run at 500 MHz. This is the norm for AMD/ATI cards.

try uninstalling GPU tweek and see if the crashing persists.

when you say that the temp reaches 60, this is on what component? using furmark makes me think it is GPU temp but i would like to be sure. Also keep an eye on CPU temps and Motherboard temps at the same time.

Ok i unistalled gpu Tweak but still no luck...and yes its the gpu temp that reaches 60....and when now i checked the clocks while running NFSMW 2012 the memory clock is @ 1600mhz and the gpu clock is @ 300mhz only when i use ccc overdrive and i have to restart to get it working again

Have you overclocked the GPU? If so remove the OC and see if it helps. the core clock is dropping because your ALT-TAB ed out of the game. if you want to see things like this you need to run the program in windowed mode so you can see more windows at the same time.
