Hello there

I have a PC that has 8 gigs of ram. I am planning to add 16 more gigs of ram. So it will be 24 gigs of ram. Will it improve gameplay?

Here are the specs of my computer (so far):

2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 (24 soon!)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB

Thank You

In gaming no, 8GB is about optimum for gaming any more wont make a difference. The problem is the GPU, the 660M is not a bad GPU but it lacks in memory. Most modern games will use over 1GB of GPU RAM when the settings are turned up.

Ya I agree with you zink... The GTX 660 is pretty good. I get pretty good graphics with that... My dad was getting a new computer (desktop) and it will be like a family computer. Specs of it is pretty beast! My dad also said he will upgrade mine to 8gb to 24 gb (i said). But ya... I always end up using the family computer!
Thanks
