I currently use a dongle in my laptop but I've been having problems with it connecting at times and i went into 3 offline (three being my provider) and I read that I could get a router and plug the dongle into which three computers can work off. I dont know what router I'm looking for in ebay, also if i get this router can I use tablets then too. I'm not clued up in techno.... Please help me!!!!Would be much appreciated. Thanks

The key thing to search for is 3g/4g broadband router. The answer used to be buy cradlepoint and they still do make some of the very best devices.

Now many routers support this. A lot of the Asus and tplink devices have support and dd-wrt also supports it on many routers that USB ports.

Now the bad news. Even after you find a router that claims to run 3g broadband you need to find the actual list of supported dongles. You need to match both the hardware device as well as the carrier. There are differences in how each carrier uses these devices so the exact same hardware may be supported for one carrier but not another.
