Do I really need an Online ups even if I will be using Ups just to prevent Data loss on my pc as Online ups can be quite expensive.
What about Line interactive Ups.Will they provide Voltage regulation to my pc though Voltage fluctuations where i live are not quite often.
I have a 750W Antec Gold PSU

Line interactive will be fine and the best ones provide boost and buck automatic voltage regulation which means they step up the input voltage if it is low and step down input voltage if it is high without switching to Battery which also extends battery life.
Online Ups on battery give Pure sinewave as output waveform while line interactive will give stepped approximation to sine wave which is liitle rough than Pure sine wave.
But as you say you will use it only as to prevent data loss and quickly turn off Pc as soon as the power goes So then save your Bucks and go for buck and boost.
Apc line interactive Back-ups will be best with AVR
