I have an ASUS X401U Notebook Serial No.D4NOCX785179189 with a Windows 8 0perating System and I have the following problem:
When I want to write in French or Spanish, I need the use theaccents and other signs.
I am now able to write the following signs ( by pressing on the "shift" "ctrl"and "alt" keys ):
ñ , à , á , ê , ¿ ,µ , ½ ,¾ ,’ ,ú , í ,ó , ö ,ø ,¶ ,
But I don't know how to type the following signs:
ç (cedille)
€ (Euro )
¡ (inverted exclamation mark)
º ( as in 1º, 2º etc.)
ª (as in 1ª, 2ª etc.)
¼
ü
÷ (Division symbol)
I used to have a DELL computer and whenever I wanted to type a foreign sign I would use the "alt" key together with some numbers and this would give me the required sign.
For instance to get the ç (cedille) I would type "alt"+ 135
€ (Euro ) I would type "alt"+ 0128 etc. etc.
Please tell me what to do.
