So I just picked up a computer for a very good price but it has 2 different types of Gskill ram included. 2x8gb sticks and 2x4gb sticks to equal 24gb. I'm trying to figure out if I should just keep the two 1866's in and remove the other two?

Any idea what the ram would be running at right now (is it capped at 1333 due to the slower ram sticks?)

(FYI: I have 24gb but only 16gb are available due to Windows, hence the "Total Physical Memory: 16384MB")

Memory
Total Physical Memory: 16384MB
Available Physical Memory: 13210MB
Memory devices:
Slot 1:
- 4GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-10600
- G Skill Intl F3-10666CL9-4GBNT
- 1.5V, Clk: 666.7MHz, Timings 9-9-9-24 (@ Max. freq.)
Slot 2:
- 4GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-10600
- G Skill Intl F3-10666CL9-4GBNT
- 1.5V, Clk: 666.7MHz, Timings 9-9-9-24 (@ Max. freq.)
Slot 3:
- 8GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-14222
- G Skill Intl F3-1866C10-8GAB
- XMP: 1.50V, Clk: 888.9MHz, Timings 10-11-10-29
Slot 4:
- 8GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-14222
- G Skill Intl F3-1866C10-8GAB
- XMP: 1.50V, Clk: 888.9MHz, Timings 10-11-10-29
Virtual memory: C:\pagefile.sys (allocated base size 16384MB)

Solution
Yes, remove the 4GB modules. They are useless and holding you back from full speed. Especially if Windows can only address 16GB max, configure the two DDR3-1866 modules in BIOS and you'll have max performance of 16GB.

Thank you
