Recently I've been getting more and more tired of my GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 770 OC - 4GB GDDR5 as it is rather noisy, so I've been considering liquid cooling and looked at the NZXT G10 Kraken, but I got rather unsure if it would fit.
So figured I'd try asking in here if it would fit. Can't find any details if any of the components had been moved or anything, so playing it safe by asking in here if it would fit.

Regarding the VRAM I was considering some custom heatsinks.

Does any of the users on this forum have any experience regarding this? If the VRAM would be cooled properly with the custom heatsinks and if the G10 would fit onto the card.

If you have any suggestions for the custom VRAM heatsinks that would also be appreciated.

For the case I have a http://www.cmstorm.com/en/products/chassis/sniper/ and was considering to go for a Corsair H105 cooler (as that's one of the few 120mm coolers) and as far as I could read it would fit into the case.

Don't have much experience regarding this, so figured this would be the best place to ask as I've found a lot of good solutions in here in the past.

Zehheal

Firstly you need to find out if that card uses the Reference PCB design, as the G10 is built based on the reference designs.

Ive got the G10 + Corsair H55 cooling my heavily overclocked GTX 660 OEM (which is actually not a 660 at all, uses the same GK104 as the 760/770 etc). The installation was very straight forward as long as you are careful when taking apart the graphics card.

I bought these to put on the vRam chips, seem to be working well, as my vram is now clocked at 7200mhz from 5800mhz.

Let me know if you have any other questions, or want to see any pics for installation.

Well, was hoping that someone eventually knew if it was the base layout as I mentioned I don't have much experience with where the different things have to be located for it to properly work.

Was hoping to know if it would fit prior to ordering one to ensure I don't mess up when it's my first attempt at this.

Yeah I cant see anyone trying on a windforce card. If you could sell you card and get a cheaper reference design you could do it and have a bit of spare cash.

To be honest, the only parts that need to fit is that the holes on the card where the heatstink is mounted are the same layout.

I can vouch for the quietness though. I previously had a Asus Direct CU II 560 Ti, and although it was fairly quiet, you could still hear it when the fans sped up when under load. This solution is quiet, and there is no increased noise when under load.

Aye, I'll have to wait and see if anyone comes up with a final solution to this, as I was hoping for a solution with my current card, as I don't want to replace it.

Bump currently looking for same solution: kraken g10 + gigabyte windforce GTX 770 4gb. Unless you have a solution better than "get a cheaper card" don't be an idiot and stay on topic. Why would he sell his $400 graphics card and loose half the money out of it because hes not going to get anywhere close to that back for it, and get a cheaper card? Lawl no sense.

Update OCN a guy has successfully put the kraken g10 on his Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB rev 1 without modding it, other than adding heatsinks to the VRAM. Anyone else interested go here:

I ordered all my stuff to do it also have everything but the kraken g10(shipping from newegg)

I'm sure it will fit my rev 2 just fine.
