I got a Corsair CX430 last month. It's been working perfectly fine, and extremely quiet. This past night, my computer was on for a total of 8 hours, 4 of which was intensive gaming (BF4). When I was done gaming and about to go to bed, my computer shut off suddenly, then turned on seconds later automatically. I thought this was just a fluke.
As my computer loaded onto the home screen, I decided to finish what I was doing, when all of this happened again just 10 minutes after that auto reboot.
As soon as this happened, my computer (which is extremely quiet on idle) started making this buzzing/whirring noise, which I'm sure is coming from the PSU.

1. So far, I've opened up the computer to check for any physical irregularities, none of which I found.
2. I would like to know if I can still keep using my computer, or will these auto reboots damage my computer components if they continue?

My rig:
Vista 64-bit
Intel Q8200 Core 2 Duo
Benicia motherboard
8GB DDR2
MSI GTX 660
Corsair CX430

Vista is worst OS. Try womdows 7 or 8 / 8.1

Motherboard is not best. PSU is not best. Here is couple better psu. Read rosewill cappstone review.

This psu is awesome quality. Really low noise and ripple levels. Long warranty and really good reliability.

EVGA is bit bigger and cheap choice.

First thin to do is RMA Corsair if it is not working properly. Then you can sell it out or buy new better one if you get money back.

Reboot can happen if there is uppdates caming for windows.

How long does a typical corsair Rma take anyway?

Maybe two weeks tops.. Hope it goes in one week or so.
