Please,before answering a question read all the questions first thank you!

1.Which is better? 4 GTX 770's OR 2/3 GTX 690's?

2.if i buy 2 GTX 690's whats the recommended power supply?

a 690 = 2 680's on one board that have been nerffed to fit power requirements -> so 2 680's in sli are faster then a single 690. The top line card 580, 680, 780 all can run in four way sli with 4 standalone cards. the 770 and lower cards can only run in 3way, you can add a 4th 770 to the MB but it will not hook up with the other 3 cards that are in sli. the 4th card could only be used as a dedicated physics card, but to be honest would be a waste of money.

You can only run 2 690's in sli as they are really 2 680's sli'd on one card, effectively making 2 690's a 4 way sli. If your going that far just buy 4 680's, they will be at full strength unlike the 690 that has two nerffed 680's on one card. Further more you can only run 3 gtx 770's in sli only running the 4 for physics.

so what does that 4-way nvidia sli thing from the motherboard i will buy,and how come GTX 680 is so much better than the 770 i mean 770 consumes more power but its better and cheaper

so i should buy 4 gtx 680's instead of 4 gtx 770's becuase the 1 card in the 4 gtx 770's will be useless?

ok lets step back and look at this from a different view. what are you trying to achieve with all these cards? For the price you are paying for 4 770's you could get 2 780 ti's and im not even sure where to still buy 680's or 690's any more. Then only 680 I could find are refurbished ones and coast more then a 770.

2 770 are faster the 1 780 ti
but
2 780 ti's are faster then 3 770's

3 way and 4 way don't scale as much as regular sli

ok look,i cant get the 780's but i surely can get the 4 770's or the 4 660's its just for gaming so i wont get any problems when i play like so laggy and stuff + im asking you which is better 4 680's or 4 770's thats all i need so i can continue to buy and dont have any problems and here is the site where im allowed to buy not anywhere else http://pcx.com.ph/components/graphics-card.html please reply asap

for gaming you want ether 1 or 3 monitors, two is just stupid as it put a big bar right down the middle of the screen. I run 2 monitors at home but only game on 1 and ether have a internet page up or watch a movie on the other while gaming.


this is what I would do, I would get 1 monitor and 2 of the evga gtx770's that will give you enough horsepower to do whatever you need. If you're playing a game and you feel its not enough then I would then get a 3rd 770. do not waste your money on a 4th it will not help at all.
