Hi guys, I recently decided to build my own system and I've already picked out and ordered the parts (list will be below).

The only question I have at this point for the build itself has to do with the system fans. Would having two 80mm fans in the rear for exhaust, two 120mm on the side for intake, and the single 140mm on the front be more than enough for cooling? Or would it perhaps be too much?

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GM
Case: Corsair 250D
Storage: Seagate 1TB Hybrid Drive
PSU: Corsair CXM500M
Video Card: Gigabyte GTX 660
MoBo: Gigabyte H87N (rev. 2.0)

Solution
There's really not a thing of having too many fans in a case; it's really more so having fans setup incorrectly, which disrupts airflow and defeats the purpose of having fans.

In general, fan setup should be have the front/bottom/side fans as intake and the top/rear fans as exhaust. Also you want to be mindful of positive (more air coming in than out) and negative air pressure (opposite of positive). I prefer positive because it tends to accumulate less dust. They both have their ups and downs.

The setup you described (as long as the front is intake) is fine. You won't run into any problems.

Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna go with what you suggested since the bottom from fan is already intake. I don't think negative air pressure or dust will be much of an issue since the Corsair 250D has a lot of ventilation on the sides and and rear along with dust filters on the front and both sides.
