Will upgrading to the new 750Ti help me?

My current GPU is a 550Ti, and I was thinking about upgrading to a 750Ti.

I want to be able to run Battlefield 4 @ 60fps on Medium or above - benchmarks for the 750Ti I've seen seem to be able to do it on High.

But will my processor be enough? I have a quad-core i5 760 2.8Ghz. I currently have 4GB of RAM but could upgrade to 8GB.

So, will upgrading to the 750Ti and 8GB of RAM be enough, or do I need a new processor too?

Thanks!

What do you think the average FPS would be on Medium or High?

Great! Thanks for the help!

If I can run BF4 well then I'm sorted!

What's your current PSU? I would only recommend the 750 Ti to people who have a weak PSU (< 350W) and don't wan't to upgrade it as well. For 150$ there are better options out there such as the AMD R7-265 or the 7850 if you can find one.

If I managed to OC my CPU to something like 3.2 or 3.4Ghz, got the 750Ti and upgraded to 8GB RAM - would that improve performance? Or is there no point overclocking?

Also, my PSU is 600W, dunno if that will affect ability to OC.

You'd see a bit of a difference with a CPU overclock in games like BF4, since it is CPU intensive. It won't be a huge jump in performance, but as long as you have a cooler able to keep the CPU cool, there wouldn't be harm in overclocking it, as long as your motherboard supports it.
