I'm having trouble with my resolution. I just finished building my PC, and as expected, my resolution is 800x600, granted I'm using a TV with a weird resolution, I was able to get a decent resolution that wasn't massive and clunky and required me to scroll to the left and right, on my old build.
I updated drivers for my GPU but I still can't change the resolution. Along with this, my Windows Performance Score Index rates my GPU at still only a 1.0. What can I do?

your computer doesnt have a way to detect the older screens resolution so it cant decide .

What you do next depends on what graphics system you have
But you can probably solve this with a google search along the lines of "force resolution + [graphics card makers name] "

unless you are using intels integrated graphics at which point its easier to buy a new screen
