stuck on graphics card

hello

i am really stuck on buying a gtx 770 or r9 280x, i have checked many websites to see which might be better but i just can't seem to decide, can you guys tell me which one is more worth it.


Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card or Gigabyte R9 280X 3072 MB GDDR5 Graphics Card.

I chose a 4gb card for 770 as i have seen gameplays of titanfall as i plan on buying it and at high textures the game takes upto 3717mb of vram.

I would go with the GTX 770. The prices of the R9 cards are incredibly inflated right now, and the amount more you'll pay for a 280x will not translate into significant gains. As far as Titanfall is concerned, I own a 2 GB EVGA GTX 770, and have been playing the beta completely maxed out with no stutter or slowdowns whatsoever, so I'm not sure where you got your numbers for vram, I'm going to assume that what you read was talking about system ram, because there aren't many if any games right now that will use more than 2GB of vram at 1080p. I would recommend getting the 2 GB version unless you plan to SLI later and play at higher resolutions :)
