I have the PC and I bought a XFX R7870 Core Edition Graphics Card. Installed it with a APower 680w power supply. Once I turn my computer on the monitor stays black screened. I take the card out and put my old back in and its fine. My question is, is this card compatible with my
GIGABYTE 78LMT-S2P MoBo or do I need to get another power supply?

I also bought a liquid cooling fan and upgraded my memory to a better brand...

Could be a bad power supply. You have all the power cables connected to the graphics card, right?

No. My power supply doesn't have enough pci-e connectors. I have one.

What? So you're saying you don't have any power cables connected to the graphics card?

No, I'm saying I have one. Only one cable connected. Do I need more than one? Is that the problem? I need a power supply with 2 cables to connect to the card?

If there are two power connectors on the card, you need both plugged in. If you don't have two PCIe power connectors on your power supply, you can get an adapter like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
